FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, oncology, X-ray diagnostics. A patient is placed on a trochoscope of a Roentgen diagnostic unit, a photofluorographic unit with a scopic monitoring device in the position optimal for visualisation of a zone of interest; an extremity is placed immediately on the trochoscope wrapped by a sterile sheet. A part of the tumour is palpated, and surrounding skin is prepared with an antiseptic. A iodine-containing water-soluble contrast of diatrizoate para- and subtumourally from 4-6 peripheral points: 2-3 ml in one point. In the SCOPIM mode, contrast propagation in soft tissues is monitored 1, 5, 10, 15, 30 min, 1 h, 2 h, 24 h later. The monitoring stages are shown by X-ray patterns. When estimating the results, localisation of the growth and the contrast depots in punctures, their size and density, contrast propagation in surrounding tissues: on border and in thickness of the growth, a degree of contrast penetration in the vasculature. A benign process is described by a symptom of 'flow-around' with visualised sharp outlines of the growth surrounded by the contrast without penetration inside the tumour; the contrast is washed quickly; the normal vasculature of the extremity is visualised, and 1 hour later the contrast is almost non-visible. In malignant tumours, the contrast is slowly diffused into the tumour and slowly washed therefrom; the outlines are irregular, broken; a phenomena of contrast staying within the tumour is still observed 24 h after the moment of the introduction.
EFFECT: method provides accuracy of differential diagnosis enabling the use of any apparatus equipped by an electronic image converter, enables avoiding higher dosages of X-ray emission.
