FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and medical equipment and is intended for underwater horizontal traction and elongation of spine. Device contains bathtub with sloping bottom and head, leg and aggregate compartments, metal base, main and additional panels, means for patient placement, first, second and third flexible connections, made in form of ropes placed on rollers, mechanism for lifting and lowering of board, installed in aggregate compartment, means for traction of cervical or lumbar spine; units for pouring and discharge of water, unit of hydromassage and elements for patient's fixation, made in form of Glisson loop and chest and pelvis belts. Device also contains programme block, electronic control panel, inbuilt into main bathtub panel and electrically connected with programme unit; sensor of loading force, interacting with means for traction of cervical and lumbar spine, unit of electric power supply, located in head compartment of bathtub and equipped with electric switches, first and second blocking elements. Hydromassage unit is located in aggregate compartment and is made in form of electric pump.

EFFECT: simplification of device construction and reduction of labour consumption in patient care due to automation of hydromassage and traction procedures; providing more comfortable conditions of massage and traction procedure for patients; achievement of maximal health-improving effect by providing smoother and more accurate regulation of traction force, acting on spine.
