FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in finishing of hollow part outer surfaces by compacted grinding material. Machined parts are loaded into container filled with pelletised grinding material and process fluid. Container is driven in orbit around axes of carrier and container while said carrier is translated around axis perpendicular to that of carrier. In complex rotation of the container, load is compacted to form sliding layer on its surface. Bulk density of hollow part is increased by feed process body into part cavity, weight tt of the latter being defined by calculated relation.
EFFECT: immersion of part into pelletised grinding material, stable grinding.
