SUBSTANCE: noise emission signal and interference are received; the spectrum of the received mixture of noise emission signal and interference is determined; the secondary spectrum of the mixture of noise emission signal and interference or an autocorrelation function (ACF) is determined; the inflexion point of the ACF is determined; S1 is determined as a sum of ACF readings from the zero reading to the reading at the inflexion point; S3 is determined as a sum of ACF readings from the reading at the inflexion point to the reading at the end of the ACF; S2 is determined as a product of the value of the ACF at the inflexion point and the number of readings from the zero reading to the inflexion point, and the signal-to-noise ratio is determined using the formula

EFFECT: universality of the method and simple apparatus, which enables to determine signal-to-noise ratio.
