FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in friction assemblies, bearings of different industrial machines, mechanisms, devices, household devices and which increases service life thereof. The material contains hydrated silicon dioxide in form of a porous silicate polymer matrix whose pores are filled with microparticles of finely dispersed polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) powder in amount of 1-20 wt %. The finely dispersed PTFE powder is dispersed in water by ultrasonic treatment in an amount which provides its content in the lubricant material of 1-20 wt %. Tetrakis(2-hydroxyethyl)orthosilicate, taken in amount of 5-40 wt % with respect to the total amount of the starting composition, is then added to the freshly prepared dispersion while stirring constantly.
EFFECT: high stability of the lubricant material, reduced harmful effect thereof on the environment and humans, as well as high safety and simplification of the method.
