FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas dusting of moving strip material surface. Proposed device comprises, at least, one hollow tank 20 with one perforated wall 22 to direct gas to strip material surface. Said hollow tank 20 is furnished additionally, on at least one its side, with moving shutoff means 50 to stop selectively some of said passages 30 to adapt dusting width to strip material width. Note here that said moving means has edge 54 adjoining inner surface 25 of perforated wall 22 and edge 55 adjoining hollow tank side wall 23.
EFFECT: making dusting zone width fitting in strip material width.
