SUBSTANCE: this invention refers to a system of tension monitoring. The system of tension monitoring comprises at least one camera to capture at least one image of at least one pattern arranged on the object of interest. Besides, the pattern comprises multiple points, every of which is arranged as fixed on the object, so that it follows the object motion. The system also comprises a computing device arranged as capable of analysis of the captured image to detect a position of each point of the pattern with the help of a logic for analysis of the image, making it possible to define the geometric centre of the point by means of finding the contrast of distance detection between at least two parts of the pattern, and calculation of tension caused in the object, using the control value of the distance between two parts of the pattern, when the object is in the mechanically unstressed condition.

EFFECT: measurement of tension simultaneously in several directions, possibility to measure using one and the same detection device in several places and to produce a geometric profile of tension.
