SUBSTANCE: display device includes a pixel, which comprises an element of light radiation, which radiates light in accordance with the current force, and a pixel chain, which control, in accordance with a video signal, the current supplied into an element of light radiation, a scanning line, along which a selection signal is sent into a pixel, in the specified scanning cycle, and this signal selects a pixel that radiates light, a data line, along which a video signal is sent into a pixel, and a display section, in which control transistors, to which a video signal is sent, are arranged in the form of a matrix. The display device also comprises a section of gamma conversion, which converts a video signal so that it has a gamma characteristic, and a section of transistor control, which controls voltage-current characteristics of transistors so that a gamma characteristic of a signal converted by a section of gamma conversion becomes a linear characteristic, when it is multiplied by voltage-current characteristics of transistors.

EFFECT: elimination of variation in a force of light radiated by pixels, which occur as a result of non-uniformity of threshold voltages and mobility of TFTs.
