FIELD: ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ophthalmology. For the treatment of anterior capsular contraction syndrome in pseudophakia, anterior capsulotomy is performed using a round-shaped femtosecond laser with a diameter of 4.0-4.5 mm, depending on the diameter of the IOL optics. The energy of laser radiation is 8500-9000 nanojoules, the depth of laser exposure is 600-1000 microns, depending on the thickness of the anterior lens capsule. The formed flap of the anterior capsule is left in place.
EFFECT: method provides prevention of IOL displacement and progression of manifestations of anterior capsular contraction syndrome against the background of reduced intervention invasiveness.
