FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: furnace includes housing resting through tyres on support rollers, dual drive, slurry feed pipe for preparation of cement clinker, head for supply of fuel and air to the furnace, chain filter-heater, heat exchangers, shearing grate cooler, water cooling plant and central lubrication system. Housing is installed horizontally and consists of sections; each section is made of a rectangular base and two lateral faces in the form of two oblique triangles attached with their bases at an angle of 90° to larger sides of the rectangular base. Length of smaller side of rectangular base is equal to length of each of four lateral faces of oblique triangles. Besides, sections are connected so that each of them can turn relative to the previous one through the angle of 90° with formation of a multiturn screw surface and four broken screw lines of the main direction and two broken screw lines of opposite direction, which are directed towards each other.

EFFECT: enlarging technological capabilities, increasing heat exchange intensity and simplifying the furnace operation.
