FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: peripheral blood smear taken on an empty stomach prepared and stained by Romanowsky-Giemsa is analysed. It is followed by evaluating the relation of endogenic leukocyte autorosettes to leukocytes, and if observing endogenic leukocyte autorosettes less than 22% of leukocyte, a mild form of bronchial asthma is diagnosed. If observing gain of endogenic leukocyte autorosettes more than 35% of leukocytes, a severe form of bronchial asthma is diagnosed. If observing endogenic leukocyte autorosettes in relation to leukocytes within the range of 22% through 35%, bronchial asthma of moderate severity is diagnosed.

EFFECT: use of the declared method enables creating the informative laboratory method of determining severity of bronchial asthma in children.
