FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: tunable metamaterial filter of a teracycle range comprises one unit, made of two layers, every of which represents crossing wires; besides, between two neighbouring layers of crossing wires there is one layer of a nematic liquid crystal with a dielectric substrate arranged underneath, on which there are flat elements of cross-like shape installed; a dielectric substrate, on which there is a lower layer of crossing wires, and control electrodes made as capable of supplying voltage to a nematic liquid crystal and arranged at opposite side surfaces of the specified filter.
EFFECT: invention provides for high frequency selectivity of teracycle radiation.
