SUBSTANCE: splint tape bed is created on contact surfaces of splinted teeth perpendicular to a long axis in the form of a tunnel connected with a prepared endodontic approach. Thereafter, a splint tape is brought into the tunnel and fixed with a filling material.
EFFECT: technique enables reliable fixation of the splint tape to tooth solids due to minimal excision of tooth solids.
