SUBSTANCE: system contains light pattern generator for generation of changing in time light pattern in subject's field of vision; unit for measuring breath frequency for measuring subject's breath frequency; and control unit, connected with unit for measuring breath frequency and light pattern generator for control of light pattern generator, so that generated light pattern changes in time with frequency of change between measured breath frequency and preliminarily selected desirable frequency. Described are method of motivating subject to fall asleep with application of system, version of system implementation in form of computer system and computer-readable carrier for application in system in method realisation.

EFFECT: more accurate determination of breath frequency and its application for motivation to fall asleep.
