FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: centrifugal separator includes a spindle that is installed with possibility of being rotated in centrifugal separator by means of a supporting device and connected to the rotor in which centrifugal separation is performed during operation, drive unit which causes rotation of spindle and rotor during operation, lubricating device and pump unit. Lubricating device includes a tank made so that it can contain some amount of lubricating material. Pump unit is arranged in centrifugal separator and rotated about central axis. Pump unit includes the lubricating material inlet located on the first radially internal level to receive lubricating material from lubricating material tank, outlet device for supply at least of some part of the specified lubricating material from lubricating device in the form of lubricating material mist and channel for movement of lubricating material from lubricating material inlet to outlet device. The latter includes at least one lubricating material outlet located outside the first radially internal level. Centrifugal separator includes housing that at least partially envelopes supporting and lubricating devices and that allows the lubricating material mist to flow from lubricating device to supporting device. Pump unit includes gas inlet for supply of some amount of gas to the channel, and outlet device includes gas outlet for supply of the specified amount of gas from the channel. During rotation of the pump unit, the gas flow is supported from gas inlet to gas outlet so that lubricating material present in the channel is carried over with gas flow to the outlet device.
EFFECT: providing proper lubrication of one or more bearings in centrifugal separator.
