FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to centrifuge rotor, centrifugal separator, method of separating heavy phase from light phase, as well as to conical disk for centrifuge rotor. Rotor of centrifugal separator comprises stack of conical disks concentrically arranged around rotor central rotational axis. Each conical disk has an outer surface, an inner surface and a central hole. Discs are arranged with gaps between adjacent disks, wherein there are first gaps for separation of heavy phase from light and at least one second gap, in which check valve is located. Check valve is intended for closing the second gap in internal direction to the central axis of the rotor and for opening of the second gap in external direction from the central axis.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation of phases with increase of pressure in rotor of centrifuge.
