SUBSTANCE: cell contains at least first and second anode-cathode pair, and each of anode-cathode pairs contains cathode and anode, separated with non-conducting element, at the distance, in range from approximately 0.05 mm to approximately 10 mm, and at least one executive means, connecting first and second anode-cathode pairs with power supply source. Said executive means and power supply source are suitable for alternate supply of constant electric current in first working state to cathode of first anode-cathode pair and to anode of second anode-cathode pair, and the remaining cathode and anode are in open circuit, and in second working state to cathode of second anode-cathode pair and to anode of first anode-cathode pair, with the remaining cathode and anode being in open circuit.

EFFECT: prevention of accumulation of scale or similar contaminations without application of harmful change of current direction.
