FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to cemented carbide and may be used in production of high wear resistance and critical parts subjected to intensive wear in operation. Method of producing hard alloy on basis of cast eutectic cemented carbide of (WC-W2C)-phase composition comprises mixing cast eutectic cemented carbide flaky powder with metallic binder powder to get composite powder of 1-10 mcm-particle size consisting of a core of eutectic tungsten carbide and coat of metallic binder, compacting and sintering or hot isostatic pressing.
EFFECT: higher hardness, strength and wear resistance.
