FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology, and can be used for predicting course of ischemic heart disease (IHD). Before and after treatment modified LP 9a) are determined by processing 0.6 ml of blood serum with 0.2 ml of 0.1% Triton X-100 solution, incubation for 15 min at 20°C, mixing mixture by shaking 120 times per minute, disintegration with further addition of 7% solution of polyethylene glycol 6000 and electrophoretic separation in agarose gel in 4x20 mm well. If LP (a) level decreases by 30% and more, and level of total cholesterol by 15% and more and there is more than 30% increase of blood HDL and HDL cholesterol increase from 0.8 to 1.6 mmol/l in comparison with initial level, prognosis of disease course is considered to be favourable, contributing to changing excertional angina of FC III-IV into FC I. If reduction of level of modified LP (a) is lower than 30%, total cholesterol - lower than 15% and increase of blood HDL is less than 30% and HDL cholesterol less than 1.6 mmol/l in comparison with the initial level, prognosis of disease course is considered to be unfavourable.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase accuracy method of predicting course of ischemic heart disease.
