SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of transmitting an emergency call from a vehicle involved in an accident. When transmitting coordinates of the accident to a requesting device and transmitting voice information from a central requesting device to the coordinating authority for providing assistance, further messages of passengers of the vehicle are received over a voice channel through the central requesting device and after subsequent transmission of voice information from the central requesting device to the coordinating authority for providing assistance, a direct voice channel is established from the coordinating authority for providing assistance through the requesting device to the vehicle involved in the accident.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities owing to possibility of transmitting voice information when transmitting coordinates of the accident.
