SUBSTANCE: described systems and methodologies assist in separation of signals by different carriers within a wireless communication environment. Systems and methods may identify separation of carriers, which may be based on separation of tones related to two or more carriers. Such separation of carriers may be applied within a network to facilitate separation of signals with multiple carriers. The object of the invention may additionally assess a raster of a carrier related to a network to identify separation of carriers for provision of orthogonality between tones from variable carriers.

EFFECT: reduction of noise between carriers by optimisation of frequency shift.
