FIELD: printing industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions comprises developer roller, a process cartridge containing the developer roller and a device for forming electrophotographic image comprising an electrophotographic photosensitive element and a developer roller. The developer roller comprises a core, an elastic layer created along the circumference of the core, and the surface layer made along the circumference of the elastic layer. The surface layer comprises a urethane polymer which serves as a binder, and particles of urethane polymer dispersed in the binder and designed to create convex sections on the surface of the surface layer. Urethane polymer particle surface is partially covered with small inorganic particles containing at least one chemical element selected from silicon, titanium, and aluminium, and the urethane polymer particles are in direct contact with the binder on the surface which is not attached to the small inorganic particles.

EFFECT: creation of the developer roller made with the ability to prevent the dispersal of toner during development, and improvement of quality of the resulting electrophotographic image.
