FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electroconductive element, which charges a chargable element by means of discharge, in particular, to an electroconductive element, which can be used as a charging element, transfer element or similar for use in electrophotographic device, as well as a process cartridge and an electrophotographic device with use thereof. Disclosed group of inventions includes an electroconductive element, process cartridge and electrophotographic device. Electroconductive element comprises electroconductive support and surface layer formed on electroconductive support, wherein surface layer comprises a porous body with continuous open pores, and electroconductive satisfies following conditions (1) and (2):(1) surface potential of electroconductive element after 10 seconds after discharge for charging surface of electroconductive element is 10 V or more, wherein charging surface of electroconductive element is made by corona discharge unit, which is located so that cellular part of corona discharge unit is separated from surface of electroconductive element by 1 mm by applying voltage of 8 kV to corona discharge unit and creation of discharge therefrom; and (2) at application of DC voltage between polyethylene terephthalate film as rechargeable element and electroconductive element and charging polyethylene terephthalate film condition |Vd|≥|Vin|-|Vth| is satisfied in range |Vin|>|Vth|, where Vd is a potential charge of polyethylene terephthalate film, Vin represents a voltage applied between electroconductive element and polyethylene terephthalate film, Vth is voltage of start of discharge.
EFFECT: technical result is providing an electroconductive element, having stable characteristic of charge, so that abnormal discharge almost does not occur, even if applied voltage increases, as well as ensuring stable formation of high-quality electrophotographic image.
