FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: alcoholic intoxication is simulated by the daily intragastric introduction of ethanol 4 g/kg of animal's body weight in female rats. An agent for disturbance correction is presented by α-lipoic acid which is also introduced daily intragastrically in a dose of 75 mg/kg of animal's body weight for the whole period of pregnancy.
EFFECT: method provides normalising biochemical values of said metabolism and may be used both for correction and prevention of such disturbances in the prenatally alcoholised offspring.
