FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to clinical laboratory diagnostics of stomach cancer. Content of gas component in oral cavity air is determined, as gas component lactic acid is used and as test load - 20 ml of 40% glucose solution is used. Content of lactic acid is determined before and after receiving test load. Difference between maximal content of lactic acid after taking in test load and content of lactic acid before taking in test load is compared with threshold level of lactic acid - 10 relative units. If difference of lactic acid content in oral cavity air is higher than threshold level, stomach cancer is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to simplify and increase specificity of stomach cancer diagnostics.
