FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing industrial and domestic wastes and may be used in electrical engineering, electronics, metallurgy and for extracting nonferrous and noble metals therefrom. Proposed method comprises feeding said wastes into reactor for them to be decomposed in heat carrier inside the reactor and discharging wastes therefrom. Steam makes one of the components of said flow. Wastes are decomposed in heat carrier at 450-900°C to make solid decomposition products from wastes inorganic components. Said products are ground in crusher and cooled in filtration of saturated steam at 100-110°C and filtration rate of 0.5-5.0 m/s. Gaseous decomposition products are produced from said wastes organic components to be combusted after discharge from reactor to use combustion products as second heat carrier component. Note here that ratio between steam and gaseous decomposition substances combustion products in heat carrier makes 1:(1-10).
EFFECT: higher efficiency, reduced harmful emissions and losses of valuable metals.
