FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the technology of detonation sputtering of composite wear-resistant coatings. The method comprises pouring into a detonation apparatus a measured amount of a mixture of powdered materials for coating sputtering and sputtering the mixture onto the surface to be treated using detonation energy. The method according to version 1 uses a mixture of powdered materials for coating sputtering which contains less than 25% ultrafine diamonds, less than 50% aluminium oxide, with tungsten carbide-based powder making up the balance. In the method according to version 2, a target whose surface is coated with tungsten carbide is placed in the gun barrel of the detonation apparatus, and the mixture of powdered materials for coating sputtering used contains less than 25% ultrafine diamonds, with aluminium oxide making the balance.
EFFECT: high quality of the deposited coating.
