FIELD: textiles, paper.
SUBSTANCE: device for the separation of chaff-fiber mixture comprises active working elements in the form of plates located on the generator of the rotating disk, which enables to separate the dense flow of chaff-fiber mixture into separate factions. The disc rotation ensures unconstrained dropping of the fibers suitable for spinning, due to the forces of gravity and inertia. After release from the area of feeding the mixtures using the vacuum extractor enter the hopper for consequent processing. Oscillation of the plates in the radial and tangential directions enables to clean the drum, to dilute fiber bundles and thus provides the ability for non-fibrous impurities located inside to fly unconstrained through the system of plates and to remove them using the diffuser for removing the chaff located under the disc inside.
EFFECT: use of the invention does not require large capital costs and enables to simplify the design of the device and to increase the economic efficiency of the stock processing.
