FIELD: textile industry; methods of stapling of a flax fiber .

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to a textile industry, in particular, to a method of stapling of textile fibers. The purpose of the invention is to increase efficiency of purification of produced flax fibers out of non-spinning fibrous complexes of small length and non-fibrous impurities. Elimination of shortcomings of the well known method and reaching of the indicated purpose is ensured, that during stapling the formed air-fibrous mixture at leaving a zone of stapling is subjected to separation, that is to separation into two streams, one of which contains the lengthy fibrous filaments, and other - non-fibrous impurities and non-spinning fibers. The separation is conducted by interaction of the air-fibrous mixture with a system of tools, which edges are located at an angle to the direction of movement of an air-fibrous stream, and the distance between edges of the tools can vary.

EFFECT: the invention ensures increased efficiency of purification of produced flax fibers out of non-spinning fibrous complexes of small length and non-fibrous impurities.
