FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device for measuring gravitational acceleration inside a well bore has a light source having a semiconductor with a bandgap greater than about 2 eV, and a gravimeter for receiving light radiation from the light source, which provides output light radiation with a characteristic associated with gravitational acceleration, using a nano-electromechanical system (NEMS) and/or a mciro-electromechanical system (MEMS), which are made in a substrate, wherein the light source and the gravimeter lie in a housing adapted to be lowered into the well bore. The device can have an optical filter and the gravimeter can have a test load. The invention also relates to a measuring method and a system for measuring gravitational acceleration.
EFFECT: invention provides high level of controlling quality of obtained data.
