SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and medical equipment. The tested person is shown light flicker with initial frequency 20 Hz, with increase of light flicker frequency until sensation of tier fusion appears. Period of critical frequency of light flicker (CFLF) is measured with 0.1 ms accuracy. Value to CFLF is determined. Value of nervous system power is calculated as mean quadratic deviation of results of CFLF measurements.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to estimated nervous system power.
