FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to pediatrics, psychoneurology, medical radiology. Magnetic resonance tomography is performed, median sagittal image of brain is obtained, image of corpus callosum contour is isolated. Coregistration of image on plane of anterior and posterior comissure is carried out. Image is divided into anatomical parts and singled out are: knee (CC2), anterior part of corpus callosum trunk (CC3), isthmus of corpus callusum (CC6), splenium (CC7), total area in pixels is determined on image, diagnostic index (Y) is calculated by formula: Y=((CC2+CC3)×CC6)/(CC7×K), where K is normalising coefficient 200. If value Y is lower than 1, ICP is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase reliability of diagnostics, which is achieved due to taking into account individual peculiarities of brain structures.
