SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises feeding charge in vapor recovery reactor in countercurrent with gases outflowing from carbothermic aluminium furnace. Note here that charge comprises alumina-carbon mix. Note also that process comprises processing off-gases by charge in aforesaid feeding to produce circulated material, and extracting, at least, some portion of circulated material for reuse in carbothermic aluminium furnace.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and yield.
