FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to submarine weapons, particularly, to protection against wide-range mines-torpedoes. Proposed method comprises detecting and defining angular coordinates of mine-torpedo by its probing signal of its sonar, classifying it, generating fire parameters, launching jet projectile carrier, firing jet projectiles when carrier gets in preset point at mine-torpedo path. Epicenters of jet projectile blasts are uniformly distributed in volume of limited water space formed around pre-computed point of contact between jet projectile carrier and mine-torpedo excluding formation of intact sections. Limited water space is formed by screening by means of force field of jet projectile blasts on mine-torpedo path. In approach of carrier with mine-torpedo, submarine goes on tracking mine-torpedo by angular coordinates of its sonar probing signal. In case mine-torpedo is not destructed by force field of jet projectiles, in approach of mine-torpedo with submarine to 300-400 metres, mine-torpedo probing sonar signal is reradiated toward attacking mine-torpedo with the help of mobile hydroacoustic transceiver. Note here that said transceiver is located outside submarine at distance of 200-250 metres.
