SUBSTANCE: powerful microwave generator of monotron type comprises a cathode system, serially arranged a volume resonator of cylindrical shape with holes in side covers for electron flow transit, a collector system, a coaxial device of communication with an outer load, a magnetic focusing system, arranged along the circumference of the volume resonator, differing by the fact that side covers of the volume resonator equipped with drift tubes with drift holes are connected to each other by an additionally introduced central support rod, arranged along the longitudinal axis of the volume resonator, on which at the equal distance from the side covers there are two side diaphragms fixed, being equipped with drift bushings with drift holes, coaxially arranged relative to the central support rod, between these two diaphragms there is a central diaphragm fixed on the outer cylindrical surface of the volume resonator, also equipped with drift bushings with drift holes, so that between ends of these bushings and ends of drift tubes there are four high-frequency gaps of equal length.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and output capacity of a generator.
