FIELD: klystron-type multibeam microwave devices; distributed-interaction and other klystrons used as amplifiers and oscillators. SUBSTANCE: multichannel resonator has its conductor made in the form of hollow metal cylinder with stepwise varying inner diameter in central part accommodating group of bushings that form transit-time channels. Axes of all channels are parallel to coaxial-member axis and equally spaced from the latter. Short conductors connecting resonator case to central bushings are perpendicular to coaxial-member axis and secured in center of enlarged part of external conductor; internal conductor is connected to groups of intermediate bushings by means of arched conductors and additional short conductors arranged radially and secured on ends of internal conductor. Short-circuiting piston placed in external conductor part of smaller diameter is mounted for displacement. EFFECT: reduced size, enhanced efficiency of electron-flow-to-resonator-field energy exchange. 3 cl, 8 dwg
