FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. An endoprosthesis of a long bone stump comprises a rigid plate with a convex external and concave internal cavity and a rod in the middle thereof closely introduced in a marrow canal of the bone stump. The rod 0.5-1.0 cm long is threaded. There are two parallel planes provided on the opposite sides of the plate.
EFFECT: invention provides better quality of surgical management and reduced number of complications of endoprosthetic replacement of the bone stump end by more reliable fixation of the endoprosthetic rod in the medullary canal and more precise placement of its support plate on a cortical layer of an end face of the long bone stump.
