FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, endocrinology and may be used for treating diabetic nephropathy, particularly for correction of disturbed renal haemodynamics in children with diabetic nephropathy. A patient is exposed to pulse laser light of wave length 0.85-0.9 mcm, power 18-19 Wt, pulse duration 50-150 ns. Each renal pole is irradiated for 3-5 min. The 1st-2nd sessions involve the exposure to laser light of frequency 200 Hz for 3 min; the 3rd-4th sessions - the exposure to laser light of frequency 400 Hz for 4 min, the 5th-7th sessions - the exposure to laser light of frequency 1300 Hz for 5 min, and the 8th-10th sessions - the exposure to laser light of frequency 2000 Hz for 5 min.
EFFECT: method provides higher clinical effectiveness in diabetic nephropathy ensured by improved renal haemodynamics and the state of renal vessel walls.
