FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass works. Proposed device comprises glass smelting chamber, vacuum degassing device, first structure of passage communicating smelting chamber with vacuum degassing device and second structure of passage arranged at rear side of vacuum degassing device to feed glass bath into extrusion means. Note here that smelting chamber is provided with separation means to divide zone of glass bath circulation therein into front circulation flow and rear circulation flow. Note here that distance from said separation means to glass bath flow rear end makes 0.1LF - 0.45LF, where LF is glass bath flow path length. Note also that aforesaid structure of passage, at its front part, has wide part, its width exceeding that in other area of passage structure. Note also that said wide part accommodates glass bath cooling means.
EFFECT: better quality of glass degassing and blending.
