FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: application method of metal coating to the base from metal or composite using the cold sputtering method involves supply of propellant gas to a cold sputtering device and its heating in the heater warmed up to the temperature of not less than 200°C and less than 500°C; introduction of non-spherical metal heteromorphic particles to propellant gas, which is heated so that the propellant gas temperature is lower than melting or softening temperature of the above metal particles, bombardment of the base with the temperature in the limits of 80-180°C with the above metal particles at blasting pressure of 0.1-0.9 MPa. When implementing the method, the base is located at the distance of 5-100 mm from the nozzle of the cold sputtering device. In particular cases of the invention implementation, the intensity of the coating formation is not less than 5 mcm/s, and copper is metal of the base.

EFFECT: good adhesion to the surface and strength.
