FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to surface straining of inner profiled surfaces. Straining element with revolving and stationary parts is driven to displace in static pulse mode. Surface layer is heated by friction by straining element revolving part. Stationary part is impressed in article surface. Static pulse axial displacement of straining element is carried out with the help of hydraulic cylinder equipped with hammer and waveguide. Stationary part of straining element has complex profile working surface representing mirror image of blank complex-profile bore surface.
EFFECT: expanded machining performances, increased depth of hardened layer and decreased roughness.
