FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of heat treatment of feed stuff on livestock farms and interfarm feed-milling establishments. The method of heat treatment of feed stuff includes steaming, metering, mixing, heat treatment and cooling. Soyabean and rapeseed are preliminary steamed in separate loading hoppers by waste steam withdrawn from the reactor for 10-12 minutes at a temperature of 150-200°C. Then it is fed to a mixer in doses, where also the filler is fed in doses. The resulting mixture is flattened and ground on the screw corn contrivance and sent to the general flow of all the other components of the feed stuff. The whole mass is loaded into the reactor where it is treated for 20-30 seconds at a temperature of 250-300°C and then passed through the gas storage holder to the cooler, cooled, and the finished product is discharged.
EFFECT: quality of feed stuff is improved due to heat treatment and deeper heating of soyabean and rapeseed.
