FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the loading method of furnace chamber (1) of coke battery, at which by means of at least one measuring device (11) located on levelling rod (9) and computing unit (5) connected to it during loading inside furnace chamber (1) there determined is filling movement in longitudinal direction and depending on the obtained filling movement, additional loading of furnace chamber (1) is performed. The method is characterised by the fact that by means of measuring device (11) in longitudinal and transverse directions of furnace chamber (1) there determined by contactless way is a three-dimensional profile of the loading level; at that, height of loading is determined at discrete points, which forms a net in longitudinal and transverse directions of the furnace chamber, and at least five points of the net are provided as to width of furnace chamber in transverse direction and in the gap between two loading openings of the furnace chamber in longitudinal direction. Besides, the invention relates to the levelling device designed for implementation of the method.
