FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: strip is cooled on an outgoing roller table prior to coiling by supplying a cooling agent flow through hollow rollers pressed to the cooled surface of the strip; at that, when limit value of the cooling agent flow is reached, strip movement speed is changed smoothly till the measured strip temperature decreases to its specified value. At that, cooling of the strip is performed at the temperature interval of Ar3+(30±50)°C to Ar1+(10±80)°C, and cooling agent is passed in the opposite direction after two adjacent hollow rollers.
EFFECT: increasing stability of mechanical properties of hot-rolled strips.
