FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: measuring device of polarisation potential of pipelines includes a dielectric housing filled with an electrolyte, in which a comparison electrode is arranged. The comparison electrode is equipped with an electric wire led through the side hole of the housing to the outside. A potential sensor mounted into the potential sensor housing is equipped with two electric wires led through the side surface of the potential sensor housing to the outside. The comparison electrode has a plastic housing with holes. Upper part of the housing is filled with crystals, covered with a gasket, closed with an upper plug with a hole and filled with a sealant. Lower part of the housing is connected to the potential sensor housing. The potential sensor housing is provided with through capillary holes filled with electrolyte. The potential sensor is located near capillary holes. Electrolyte can be represented with KCl microbiological solution thickened with agar. The comparison electrolyte can be silver-chloride. Crystals above the electrolyte can be KCl crystals. Capillary holes can be filled with KCl microbiological solution thickened with agar. The potential sensor can be made from pipe steel. The potential sensor can be located at the distance of 0.1 mm from capillary holes. The housing can be made using the welding method from strong dielectric material sustaining increased loads.

EFFECT: improving measurement accuracy of potential of steel facility, which allows controlling protection degree of steel facility against corrosion.
