FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: system comprises a phased antenna array emitting a continuous frequency-modulated microwave signal and scanning the monitored space, a receiver of a reflected signal made in the form of a phased antenna array, a processor, a display and a video camera. The processor detects an object of interest, if one of two conditions is met: (Ai+Ai+1)/2>A0+Δ or (Ai+Ai+1)/2<A0-Δ, where i - serial number of a scanning period, apart from the initial period (i=1, 2,…); Ai - code of a signal amplitude at the outlet of the receiver of the reflected signal in any subsequent, apart from the initial one, i period of scanning with any direction of emission; Ai-1 - code of the signal amplitude at the outlet of the receiver of the reflected signal in the (i-1) period of scanning with the same direction of emission, in which the code Ai is received; A0 - code of the signal amplitude at the outlet of the receiver of the reflected signal in the initial period of scanning at the same direction of emission as the one, when the code Ai was received; Δ>0 - allowance for deviation of the code A0.
EFFECT: expanded area of application, increased noise immunity, validity, sensitivity, range of detection.
