FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises gages 13, 14. Every said gage comprises hollow base 15, 16, locking screw 19, 20 and cylindrical rod 17, 18 for axial displacement, rotation and fixation relative to base 15, 16. Drive wheel base 15 of gage 13 has inner location surface 23, collet part 24 and end base surface 25. Driven wheel base 16 of gage 14 comprises two concentric cylindrical location surfaces 26, 27 and end base surface 28. Skew flat cut is made on ends of both rods 17, 18. Flat lengthwise cut on rod 17, 18 coincides with its axis and skew flat cut to make end face surface perpendicular to axes 21, 22 of rods 17, 18. End face surface forms parallel ribs with lengthwise and skew cuts one of which is a working rib.
EFFECT: high-precision assembly of orthogonal and out-of-plane bevel gearing.
