FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises heat treatment of cast rough strip, rolling, coiling or piling. Flexible production of preset-quality strips suitable for transportation or storage comprises subjecting cast rough strip to effects of protective gas atmosphere during first annealing by maintaining temperature of 900-1000°C, reducing temperature by 200°C or increasing temperature by 250°C. After first homogenisation, it is subjected to the other heat treatment by maintaining temperature of 880-940°C to be reduced by 50°C or increased by 50°C. Then, it is subjected to hot rolling with reduction lower than 49%. Then, the strip is subjected to second homogenisation at specified conditions. Now, it is fed via separator synchronised with transfer speed to separate hot-rolled strip from rough strip. Proposed production line incorporated appropriate equipment.

EFFECT: higher quality of rolled stock.
