FIELD: methods and plants for production of hot-rolled steel strip from semiproduct produced by continuous casting, preferably, from slabs. SUBSTANCE: strip is produced by rolling for one heating in the course of successive operations of CSP method. In this case slabs after compensation furnace are heated at temperature higher than maximum attainable in compensation furnace, and after preliminary pass, the slabs are subjected to recrystallization for the sufficient time. Then slabs are cooled to temperature of rolling on finishing mill. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 9 cl, 4 dwg
