FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology and is intended for differential diagnostic of pathological changes in posterior eye segment by means of optic densitometry on the basis of spectral optic coherent tomography. Spectral optic coherent tomography is performed. Localisation of pathological changes in membranes of posterior eye segment is determined. Mean arithmetic brightness and coefficient of optic density are calculated by formula x=y:255*100, where y is mean arithmetic brightness, and x is conventional unit of optic density. If its value equals 47-51 and pathological changes are localised in vitreous body, preretinal opacity of vitreous body is diagnosed. If coefficient value is 52-61 and pathological changes are localised intra- and/or subretinally, hemorrhage is diagnosed. If value is 79-89 and pathological changes are localised preretinally and/or intraretinally and/or subretinally and/or in chorioidea layer, fibrous tissue is diagnosed. If coefficient value is 90-99 and pathological changes are localised intraretinally and/or subretinally, solid exudate is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to objectify differential diagnostics of pathological changes in posterior eye segment due to calculation of optic density coefficient on the basis of measurement of separate pixels in analysis of digital images.
